Facebook NinJa Traffic Tactic – Enter The Search Engine!

Today, I have a Facebook traffic tactic that may just ASTOUND you!… I must admit, I had to look twice at it, as I couldn’t believe it at first.
I think most people know by now that you can have a Fan Page on Facebook, and that, you can promote it via a Facebook ad if you want to.
Now in order for this tactic to work, you may have to have a Facebook ad running, advertising your Fan Page.
It’s very hard to tell, whether you do or you don’t ,as mine was actually “paused” at the time.
If you had placed a free giveaway product on your wall, of the same name as your Fan page – and pointed it to your website or blog, the Facebook search engine will recognise this and INCLUDE IT IN THE SEARCH….. in other words, it will assist you in directing traffic, off Facebook and on to your site.. for FREE

Go on to Facebook and in the search bar, type in keith’s money making tips
First you will see my Fan Page but further down, you will see my book, … click on that and BAM… you go straight to my site, all with the assistance of good old Facebook.
Try it yourself, once you have named your Fan Page – write on your Fan Page wall a message that includes your Fan Page name in it, use a graphic to illustrate the post, i.e an eBook cover.
Now, it may well be that you have to have an ad of the same name running also. I did have an ad running, advertising my Fan Page but temporarily paused it for a while, as I am using another tactic to get traffic to the page at the moment.
If this is the case – your eBook will still show, as mine is – even though I have paused the ad
In effect giving you a FREE listing in their search engine for your eBook…

How a CRACKPOT idea made this Facebook Fanpage Fanatic – a BUCKETLOAD of CASH!

Facebook Fan Pages, love them or hate them – they are a great tool to leverage your income, by informing your information hungry Fans about your current offers, your forthcoming events etc, etc.
Used properly, the FAN PAGE can be a great tool to get your ideas across to potential customers – and to get people to opt-in to your LIST… more prospects = more sales….
Yes, Keith – we know all this, but what’s your point?
Well, this is not a tip about how to create a FAN PAGE – if you want to do that, you simply log out (?) of your Facebook account and then, right there on the front page (the login page), right down the bottom in the smallest letters facebook could find – it says, Create a Page for a celebrity, band or business.)
Well, that’s how to create a fan page – but as I said before, that’s not what this tip is all about, (YAWWWN!, “GET ON WITH IT” – lol)
OK – are you ready for this…..
FACEBOOK FAN SWAPS….
Quite simply, you look for someone who has a FAN PAGE in the same niche as you – you message them and politely ask them, if they wouldn’t mind posting to THEIR wall for all their umpteen thousand friends to see – a message about YOUR Fan page, in EXCHANGE for you doing exactly – the same for them….
This way, you are getting FREE publicity for your FAN PAGE, thus building even more hungry FANS clamouring for your products and services….
KERCHINNG!
You could also do this, if you have a GROUP on Facebook…

NO Product – NO Website ? – Make Money with AFFILIATE Marketing

Affiliate Marketing is a way of selling an Arsenal of products you never have to own – with little or no cost.
How do we enter this potentially lucrative market… and what exactly is it?
Affiliate marketing is a way of selling products we don’t actually own on a commission basis, so when a sale has been registered from our “affiliate link” to us, we receive the appropriate commission.
Mainly, it is digital products that are sold this way, i.e eBooks & online memberships, however it is possible to also sell physical products this way but this is known as dropshipping, whereby the product maker or wholesaler ships the physical products out to your customer.
For the purposes of this Affiliate marketing article, we are referring to Digital products.
First you will need to register with an Affiliate product platform such as Clickbank
As you register you will be asked to choose a “nickname”, this is very important as this is how Clickbank will recognise that is is you who made the sale, therefore make your “nickname” an appropriate one – if you are going to be selling money making products, don’t make your “nickname” Sheilas Shoes (lol)- if you see what I mean
This nickname is embedded in your referral link, otherwise known as a hoplink, I will explain more about this in a moment.
Clickbank is where product vendors list their products in the “Marketplace” – this allows affiliates to choose appropriate products to sell and to create their own personal links (called hoplinks) to the vendors websites, so when a customer who was referred through your link, clicks to buy the product, you will receive the appropriate commission in your clickbank account.
Clickbank will pay you by cheque when your commission balance has reached at least $100.
Before you qualify to receive commission checks from Clickbank, you would have needed to have made sales from at least five different customers with 5 different credit cards. This is to try to stop affiliates circumventings the sytem by buying products after registering as an affiliate for the very same product, in effect to get the product cheaper for themselves.
Once you have found a product, check out the vendor’s website – this is very important as you will be sending YOUR customers there.
Does the vendors website contain a video explaination of the product ? – is the site well designed and easy to navigate? is it inviting and easy to understand?, and last but most importantly, does the site make it EASY for the person to BUY?… if YOU would buy from this vendor, then your customer that you are referring probably would too.
If any or most of the above points are missing, it may be best to move on to another product and another vendor whose website DOES have most of the above points.
Their are thousands of products on Clickbank to choose from, in many different catagories
How about price ? – as a new affiliate, I wouldn’t start with a high priced product – make it easier for yourself and go for a product preferably priced under $50 to start with – it should also have at LEAST a 50% commission payment, preferably 60%+ if you can get it.
It’s better to sell products with lower prices to begin with and generate more sales, than to have larger priced products, with less sales…
As you grow your affiliate business, you can add higher priced products to your product list later.
Once we have our Clickbank account open, and we have chosen an appropriate product, we now need to market our clickbank product.
The hoplink you create when you have chosen a product to promote can be a long and uninspiring URL (web address link), so I would suggest that you to go to one of the many free URL shorteners, online and get your affiliate link shortened for free. This makes it much easier to fit into a classified ad or a TWEET on TWITTER as it is much shorter. It also looks better as it is less cumbersome.
Also by changing the appearance of the link, unscrupilous people cannot change the link id from yours, to their own affiliate id – and receive the credit for the sale themselves.
The ultimate way to do this is to BUY a domain name similar to the Product title and point it to your affiliate link – this has a more professional look and if done properly, can be “cloaked” so no one would know that the website wasn’t yours.
Here is an affiliate link of mine for a product called Tweetadder – here is my domain, http://www.mytweetadder.com, when you click on it, although it is pointing to my affiliate link, you never actually see my clumsy link, it directs you to the Tweetadder site without you really, ever guessing that i’m an affiliate – this is very easy to do,
Check with your domain registration company, there should be a facility to “point” it to whatever web address you choose. Just point it to your affiliate link. you should also have a facility to “cloak” the link – this will disguise the link so the customer only ever sees your nice URL.
So where can you sell affiliate products ?
1) Make a free 30 second video at Animoto put your cloaked affiliate link in the video itself and in the accompanying description, use the http: format so that it will appear as a clickable link under the video when you upload it to You Tube
2) Make a FAN page on Facebook – include your affiliate link in your personal profile and also on your Fan Page wall amongst useful content.
3) Add your affiliate links with the product description on your Blog or Website
4) Include an affiliate link in your email & forum signatures
5) Tweet your product’ benefit & URL to your many Twitter followers
6) Include your affiliate links in your profile on all the other social networking sites, too numerous to mention here
7) Write related articles and include your affiliate link in the bottom half of the article (below the fold) and also in your “bio”
8) Use FREE classified ad sites such as “Craiglist” to promote your affiliate products
9) Create a free eBook giving great content, with your affiliate links discreetly placed within.
10) Mail out to your email list (if you have one).

Selling Public domain products is very BIG business today – the problem is not everyone “GETS IT”, as we are all a bit pre-occupied with the modern methods of doing things – creating digital products & videos of our own, using modern day technology – we have perhaps overlooked the power of “public domain” products…
So, what is the public domain?
Well, a basic overview would be – The public domain is content created prior to 1923 (this varies in different countries, please check eligibility before downloading content to use commercially). It basically is content where because of its age – the copyright, if it existed, has now expired.
Here is WIKIPEDIA’S definition of the Public Domain Now, I can hear people thinking “Who cares about Victorian Locomotives?” or “Who is going to be interested in Making the Perfect Chicken Coup?”.

All you have to do is take a good look on eBay, to see the many Public Domain products being sold on there, many of which are selling extremely well, because although we are all living in this WONDERFUL Digital age,, people LOVE HISTORY and still have one foot in the past….. Memorabilia ROCKS!!!
What are Public Domain Products? – They are products, derived from prints, drawings, photographs & books from a past era, and then turned into eBooks, CD’s & DVD’s to sell. Most of this valuable content has already been transferred to a PDF format so that they can be easily downloaded and transferred to CD’s, DVD’s etc and turned into themed products to SELL..
One of the most popular public domain sites to get as many free books as you want, most of them in PDF format is at Gutenberg or Project Gutenberg as it is often referred as.
So, whether its “A History of Horseracing” – “Castles of a Bygone Era” – Victorian Motorbuses” or “Building An Outhouse for Beginners” – there is a massive catalogue of VALUABLE information available just waiting for YOU.

FACEBOOK feeds my KIDS – How To ROCKET Your Business into Networking ORBIT!

Facebook, the PREMIERE social networking site has close to half a BILLION subscribers!
To put this in some kind of context, if FACEBOOK were a country, it would in the top 4 of the world’s highest populated countries.
The potential for networking customers to join your business is phenomenal. People from all over the globe join FACEBOOK to find – Friends, Inspiration, Knowledge, Love & Opportunities of all kinds. are People from all walks of life are joining everyday, and always will.
Do you not think your business could benefit from a presence on FACEBOOK ? – OF COURSE it would.
BUT, and it’s a big BUT, Facebook is not there for people to churn out SPAMMY sales messages to anyone who will listen.
Facebook is a social networking site – so NETWORK!
The Beauty of Facebook is, you can invite people to be your friends, you can show your photo’s & videos on your profile, you can show your websites and contact information. You can join groups related to your interests and you can attend the many Webinars offered by fellow members?
GREAT, you say – so how does this all help me ?
Well, my business is to provide content such as Keith’s Money Making Tips, but I also write articles and sell products online (no, this is not a plug for me).
How I use Facebook is as follows:
I create a Fan Page (yes, even Internet Marketers can have FAN PAGES) – you do this by logging in to your Facebook account – into the search bar at the top, type in “Create Facebook Fan Page” – now follow the instruction to create your very own FAN PAGE…
Now, why would you want a Fan Page ?, well ok, lets say you are running something like Keith’s Money Making Tips (no, this really isn’t a plug for me lol) – if you have a Fan Page, people who wouldn’t normally find you, nor know what you do, can find your Fan Page by searching “Money Making” or “Make Money” for instance, hence driving HOT PROSPECTS! to you Fan Page to read about your offers, your content etc etc…
So, to be a SAVVY Marketer or online business owner and to use the POWER of FACEBOOK, you definitely need a Fan Page.
Now, lets say, you have plenty of friends on Facebook and you are wondering what to do with all these friends…. you can have up to 5000 friends on any ONE ID.
The next stage is – you TALK to them – either by the facebook chat, or you could email, phone or SKYPE them, depending on the details they have allowed you to see on their profile.
Get to know people, after all it is called SOCIAL NETWORKING! – don’t just go for the JUGULAR and give them your pitch – be SUBTLE, be friendly – gets some chat going back and forth.
What I do is, once people accept my friend request (most will if you have a nice profile picture of yourself and you seem genuine enough) I write a nice message on their wall saying something like ” Thank you for adding me as a friend here on FACEBOOK, I look forward to getting to know you and to network with you.” I then sign it and discreetly add my link to my website underneath the message.
Now, this is a nice way of thanking the person and also it discreetly drops the link to your website or fan page onto that persons wall and can be seen by anyone visiting that person’s wall, hence increasing exposure to your link.
The next step for you is to make yourself some nice free videos (as explained in one of our previous tips) explaining the highlights of your products and to place them on your profile.. people who are viewing your profile can now see your videos and in particular if they are good and of obvious benefit to people, they may choose to share them with other people.
You may choose to share them with other people by sharing them on your own wall for all to see.
It is possible to TAG people in one or more of your videos, this means that your video will appear on the TAGGED friend/s profile and will be seen by his/her friends – please, though – before you do this, make sure that you have built up a relationship with that person, and if not quite sure, simply “ask them” if it’s OK.
REMEMBER, you can make some great contacts on FACEBOOK for the future, build rapport, build relationships – have fun, treat people with respect and offer MORE than what you are ASKING FOR – tell jokes, give great quotes, stories – photo’s, videos, etc, etc, then most people won’t mind listening to the occasional offer you have.
