I enjoyed the read on this topic, I used blogger first when I first started then as I got more experienced I went on to wordpress and there is no turning me back on that.
I learnt how to use just the right amount of plugins and not to over do it because your pages load slower the more plugins you have. But thanks for sharing this blog post it does make a difference to those just starting out or for those of us who need reassurance.

Hi Paul,
A great read Paul. I entered into Article Writing about 6 months ago. I got myself a nice looking site, so others tell me! In the past I’ve written for women’s magazines and then started writing for article directories online, aiming primarily at EzineArticles etc. Apart from a few link problems with some ArtDir, I have never had a rejection of anything I’ve ever written etc. I’ve just been given Platinum status by EA + they mentioned about the quality of my articles etc. Oh yes great huh, of the 10 articles on there I’ve had over 650 views + 114 URL clicks, you know what’s coming: not a single
sale. I thought I did my keyword research well + followed the 4 day blueprint etc.
After reading your article here, I have obviously missed some vital elements to implementing my articles etc. Right now if you could help me get just $100 dollars for one of them I’d happily pay you $50 for it ha! I’m going to go through your post again and follow your strategy etc. By the way I’m Derek John Taylor on EA. There is a common misconception going around that any article duplicate
somewhere on the Internet is perceived as bad in the eyes of Google.

This is in fact incorrect. Duplicate content on the same website is perceived
as bad by Google.

Hej Keith
Interesting site. Just read this article and you say about Ezinearticles being a good place to submit a link to. You say that it is good to write an article for your site and then submit that article to Ezines. Won’t this result in duplicate content and actually affect your site in the wrong way? Or is it ok to duplicate articles and distribute them around?
Interested on your opinion and affects of this practice.Thanks//Paul
