Have you ever seen a great digital product, that you just can’t wait to market?.

Do you buy it first ?  – No ?

OK, so you join the affiliate program anyway, and away you go… now, wait a second, how can you tell your list how good this product is – if you haven’t read it ?

Aah. “But I have scoured the author’s  website and I pretty much know all about it” – OK, then suppose someone on your list, asks you questions about the product itself before they buy it, what are you going to tell them ?

“Sorry, I haven’t actually read it myself.. Uh Oh!

So, you go and buy it.. KERCHINGG! more expense before you have even seen a dime in return.

Why don’t you just ask the Author for a review copy ?

This is what I do, and if you put your case forward well, you should get a review copy nearly every time..

So what’s a review copy ?  It’s a free copy in exchange for a review…

I always ask for a review copy before I sell an affiliate product, I tell the author of my intentions to be an affiliate for his/her product and I explain in the email

how I intend to market their product, if you have put a good case forward, most author’s will send you a copy.

Where this does work exceptionally well, is in the Warrior Forums. They have a section called WSO, Warrior Special Offers.

New (& seasoned) authors put their new products up for grabs to warrior members at hugely discounted prices. Details of the impending launch will appear in the forum

and you just wait for it to appear, then BAM, all you do is private message the seller and tell them you will review their product – and can you have a review copy.

If you are quick, and the product has just launched, the sellers should be fairly grateful for any positive review they can get, they normally let a small amount of review copies go out for free.

Once you have read through the product, if you like it, just leave them a nice review so other potential buyers can read how the product worked well for you
