Today, we are going to look at JV Giveaways, how they work and how they could bring in a steady stream of hungry buyers & subscribers to our list.

Firstly, what are they?

A JV Giveaway is an EVENT, set to take place at a certain time. It is where you offer up a product for FREE, this will usually be in the form of an eBook.

Once you have signed up for the event, you upload your free product, upload an image of your product – give a detailed description and give details of your capture page.

Hundreds, if not thousands of people attend these online events to take advantage of getting a whole lot of great products for free.

Now, this free product you are offering, can be a product you would normally sell, or it can be your free product that you give away to entice people to sign up to your list

Either way, you stand to get many new customers/subscribers from this event, All for FREE It’s a WIN/WIN situation..

Of course, you want to make sure that your giveaway product has your links embedded in it, this will direct the person who downloads it, to go directly to your affiliate products and also, your Website or blog.

You can see how POWERFUL this can be for YOU!, as people will now be exposed to exactly what you do, through the power of your FREE Gift..

Some JV Giveaway sites will position your product near the top of the first ygiveaway page if you can direct people to the event itself, through a personal link.

It is always advantageous to do this as the more people you can get to come to the event through your personal invite link, the higher your free gift will rank on the page,and the more people will see and actually download your gift, as you will be higher up the page than say, someone who is not actively promoting the event at all.

Your personal link is like an affiliate link that is tracked to you and your giveaway, you could promote the event a few days beforehand through your list. If you don’t already have a big list, why not promote your personal link through Twitter or Facebook ?

Some JV Giveaway events can get very busy. I have heard of other marketers, who swear by these events and do very well out of them, sometimes building large lists, just from attending a handful of JV Events alone.
