How to Find Out – Who Is Eyeballing Your Website
Apr 15th
Who exactly is visiting your website? Do you know?. I mean, what are the demographics – how old is your average visitor, are they male or female?
This information is so important when deciding on which traffic strategies to use. For instance, if the average visitor is 35 – 45 and female, and you are currently targeting areas mainly frequented by males under 25, you might want to re-think your strategy. Information is KEY!.. it’s what gives you the EDGE over your competition.

A Simple Way to Create Backlinks In Your Niche On EDU & GOV Blogs
By Keith Everett
Getting, our Websites & Blogs out there and seen on the Internet is a top priority. We often talk about creating ways to get traffic to your website, and building Backlinks is one way to do this.
Backlinks are simply links from another website leading back to ours. We create these links by either exchanging links with the Website owners or leaving comments on their Website or Blog. Search engines such as Google, view our site and rank it accordingly.
To rank well on Google, we obviously need to provide keyword rich quality, FRESH content, however another tool we can use to help Google see our sites as offering value, is if we have links on our site to other sites of VALUE..
One way Google possibly sees this, is if we are linked to Educational establishments or Government departments.
I say possibly, because it is by no means a NAILED ON certainty that your Blog will rank higher JUST because you have links to .gov or .edu sites.
My take on this is, linking to Harvard University would rank as a FAR more effective site to link to than say a fairly small, new educational establishment. The higher up in authority the edu or gov site is, the chances are greater that the Backlink you are creating will rank your site more effectively.
Not everyone agrees that building links to this type of site will boost our rankings – What Do You Think?
However, saying that – It can do NO harm to have links & contact with these establishments. Once finding these . edu sites to link to, you can place comments on their Blogs to create links back to your site.
Add VALUE to the Blog you are commenting on. Give great answers to the threads, and create RELATIONSHIPS with the Blog owners. They may then see your great comments and go back to your Blog and leave great comments for you. They may even ask you to guest Blog for them, or ask you if they can guest Blog for you.
So how do you find these educational establishments & Government Blogs, with threads in your particular niche?
Here is a URL to help you, just cut and paste the link below into the address bar, replacing the words “YOUR KEYWORDS HERE” with a keyword that actually represents your NICHE.
site:.edu inurl:blog +”post a comment” -”comments are closed” -”comments off” +”YOUR KEYWORDS HERE”
Now you will have a list of .edu sites who have threads in your niche to add comments to. If you want to comment on .gov sites (Government) just replace the edu at the beginning of the code with gov.
There you have it. An easy way to find educational or government sites to leave comments in your niche & create some pretty useful Backlinks..
Have a great day!
Keith
