7 SECRETS To Getting Low Refund Rates On Clickbank Sales!…

How To Build a Happy List.. The SECRET of Getting Less Than a 2% Refund Rate On Clickbank
By Guest Blogger – Robert Hawthorne, Houston TX USA.
My wife has a few products that she sells on ClickBank, and over the last few years I’ve been shocked at the amount of people who have requested a refund – It’s less than 2%.
While we had our coffee and scrambled eggs my wife so kindly made this morning, we did our normal thing and talked about her business, goals, directions, problems, solutions, ideas for new products, marketing, etc.
The conversation lead to the facet she had received a refund request from someone last night. I asked her how long it has been since she received a refund request and she couldn’t remember. She just looked it up and it was more than 100 sales ago. Looking back through her emails, it’s apparent that she has less than a 2% refund-rate.
The reasons I believe it’s so low is because…
1. It Solves a problem in a non money making niche. One of her ebooks has nothing to do with making money and is a product that helps people solve a problem they have. It’s proven if they follow her advice in her eBook that over time people will be able to rid themselves of this problem.
2. She over delivers - The eBook is Loooooong and is jam-packed with information – much more than the sales letter I wrote discloses. So when people download the ebook and all of the bonuses, they feel as they got a lot for their money – which they really do.
3. She provides a ton of information for free.
Between blog posts and hundreds of articles, she gives away a ton of tips, ideas, and how-to information. Those who read her articles and blog posts realize, “Wow, if she is sharing this much information with the public, I can’t imagine what the information in the ebook is like!”
4. She builds a strong relationship with her list. This is some basic stuff, but all of the emails in her auto-responder are VERY personalized. All the way down to one that I tossed in that a TON of people reply to… most think that the email was sent directly to them personally. People know that there really is someone behind the website and someone that really cares about them. Read that last sentence again.
5. She provides a lot of special offers to those who are on her list.
My wife now has 4-5 products that she offers to this list. Every time we launch a new product, we give everyone on her list a special discount price only available for 7 days before we go live with the offer to the public. This little technique has been very powerful.
6. Survey’s the list often. She not only launches surveys to learn what other products/services her list is interested in, but also to get a general feel for where everyone is at. Based on this information, I make tweaks on the sales letter to overcome new objections that we learn people have. This of course increases the conversion rate and helps future customers feel even more comfortable with their purchase.
7. She responds to all emails - Have you ever purchased a product on ClickBank and you sent an email to the product creator and never heard anything back? This has happened to me many, many times. Heck, it even happened to me last week and I still haven’t heard from the fool.
Most of the emails are “thank you’s” from people, and of course there are emails from those interested in the product, but have some questions first.
Can the email-responding be outsourced? Yes and no. Any technical issues, like download issues can easily be outsourced. However, that is a very small percentage
of the emails. The rest of the emails have to be replied to by my wife personally, there’s no way around it. Yes, that is extra work, but that little extra work is a large reason why the refund rate is so low.
I’m sure there are several more reasons, but wanted to share the few above that immediately came to me. Hope this is helpful.

3 Simple Steps to Find The Best Way to Make Money Online
By Keith Everett
Making money on the Internet is not as complicated as people would have you think. You see, if you make it complicated, you can sell people as many so called WONDER cures as you want and many will buy.
But one of the real problems of the whole “Internet Marketing Thing” is people tend to over complicate things instead of taking time out to wonder, or if even to ask themselves… is there a simple solution to making money on the Internet
Now, I’m not saying it’s EASY.. Easy and Simple, are not the same..
As with anything worthwhile, making money online takes effort. Consistent effort backed up with a plan, not a weak PRAYER… Here is my simple 3 step formula for making money online, take this advice or leave it.
I have spent many months over-complicating things, thinking that “If you want to make money, you must do as much STUFF as humanely possible. In fact, I’ve spent hours and hours just doing STUFF… some days, I’ve done so much STUFF… I’ve felt like my eyes could BLEED watching this computer screen..
Doing lots of STUFF, does not make you great at making money – it just makes you good, at looking like you are doing something..
So what is this MAGIC, secret formula.. well, it’s not magic and it’s cetainly not a secret, just common sense really.
1) Find a market full of people who have problems that they need to fix… do your research online to find if this same group, also spend money trying to fix the problem they have.
2) Find out exactly what they WANT… not need. People tend to spend like mad on things they WANT, much more than on things they NEED.
3) Sell it to them… that’s right – sell them what they want…
The more URGENT the problem, the better and the more they think about their problem during the day – the better..
Example:
A) An itchy ASS… not very URGENT… annoying yes, URGENT – NO!
B) PILES… Very painful, pretty urgent
A) Back Strain.. mild discomfort – not urgent
B) Back PAIN… very urgent, will be thinking about this ALL day..
A) A Tiff with a Girlfriend/Boyfriend – not urgent
B) Heartbreak & Heartache… very URGENT… a solution is Urgently needed
I think you get my drift. There are a million and one problems out there each and everyday. People are looking for answers to pressing, painful problems, i’m not talking about problems the doctor can solve, I’m talking about problems – you can solve..
So, there you have it: Find a hungry market, feed it what it WANTS… keep doing this and you may just have solved one of your own problems.. it won’t be EASY, nothing worthwhile really ever is.

I hope you have enjoyed this tip, if you have, pass it on. Why not leave a comment here ?

P.S The Best Way To Make Money Online?
The Traffic – Content Conundrum by Jason Fladlien
Dec 28th

Today’s Guest Blogger is Jason Fladlien, creator of numerous products, such as : Double Your Productivity For Life 7 Minute Articles & $40 An Hour Ghostwriting System
Here’s where a lot of people struggle. In order to get good, continual traffic, you need good content.
But just creating good content on its own usually doesn’t bring you any traffic. So what do you do? That’s the rub. That’s why a lot of people have trouble making money online. They face this traffic/content conundrum.
Option 1..
The first thing you can do (and almost everyone DOES) is to try to bypass the good content creation phase… And go straight for the traffic. A push button software program perhaps could do the trick? You plop down some cash on one of these gizmos… And you might even try in earnest to make it work.
It usually doesn’t. That’s because what value are you providing to the marketplace? Usually none. You can spin an article 7 ways till Sunday – but if that article sucks, you’ve added not just one piece of junk to the Internet landfill… But a whole heap of it.
Nice try.
Option 2…
Go the affiliate route. Makes sense – you can tap into someone else’s high value content… And still just focus on traffic to get eyeballs to that person’s high value content.
For your reward you earn commissions on sales. Sounds swell. Maybe you can use some of the content they give you. Problem – every other affiliate is using that same content. Again, no value is being created in the marketplace. Just more noise. And if you’re going to use your own content… Then you need to be good at creating content anyway. Sigh.
Option 3…
Go long tail young man (or woman)! You can create some content… Based around keywords like “Weber Q 100 Portable Propane Gas Grill” and play the SEO game. Boy that sounds like a picnic, doesn’t it? It can be made to work – but what value are you really putting out there for the marketplace?
Option 4…
Become a “high value content creator”. This is hard. Laborious. Little payoff in the short run. Requires a lot of your time – especially at first. Something with few short cuts attached to it. The toughest road to travel. That’s why it’s the best. That’s why it’s the model that will work most often. But it’s also the least attractive. Plus it requires the delicate balancing act of practicing and fine tuning your skills to create content… And also getting SOME short term payoff.
Where’s The Money?
If you’re with me so far, you’ve reached the conclusion that the most predictable… Most scalable… Most long term valuable thing to do to build online wealth… Is creating high value content. The trick is getting paid to practice.
When coaching clients come to me and are just starting their online business… They ask me if they should create a blog. Often I say no. While a blog is a great place to practice creating high value content… It requires you to BRING people to your blog. That’s challenging.
On the flip side, what about an active forum? There are people already going there… You just need to get the attention of a few of them. So you create high quality content for an active forum. The main purpose is to get good at creating high value content – while getting some short term results.
Warning – You Won’t Get Rich!
Sadly you won’t make a lot of money doing this. But you can make some in the short term… And get paid to “practice”. And you stand an okay chance of making SOME money at first.
Let’s get specific. The first thing you do is observe. You have to spend a few days going to the active forum you’re targeting… And just take in the “culture”. Each forum has its own unique identity. There are things the forum as a whole is favorable to… And things it hates. Be aware so you can do the things it likes and NOT do the things it hates.
More importantly observe this forum with your “opportunity antennae” on. You’re looking specifically for this – a problem shared by a large number of visitors to the forum who are desperate for a solution to that problem. Once you’ve figured out this problem – it’s time to get your hands dirty and do some work.
I’m talking serious research. Serious effort to create the granddaddy forum post that will become the de facto “go here” thread in the future any time someone brings up the problem.
You might have to spend 2 hours researching the solution for the post you’ll create… And another hour crafting it. It will be worth it. People will love your for it. You might even get some cash out of it.
Example…
A huge problem people have in Internet marketing is setting up an affiliate program. I know. In fact I’m creating software for it that I’ll launch in 2011 because this is such a big problem. However, in the meantime you could – hypothetically – provide your own solution on a high traffic Internet marketing forum like the Warrior Forum (http://warriorforum.com).
What do you do? Here’s what I’d do if I was in your position.
I’d start with the outline. I’d aim to cover the 3 major, most popular affiliate program solutions. And I’d also try to cover 3 “obscure, little talked about” solutions. I’d have to dig around for these and hopefully test them out if they’re free or rather inexpensive.
Then I’d write that granddaddy forum post. For each of the 3 main ones, I’d write a step by step tutorial on how to set up an affiliate program with that program, including screenshots. I’d also research my butt off to uncover all the pros and cons I could think of related to each of those.
I’d do the same thing with the 3 obscure ones. Would I throw an affiliate links in at any point? No. Not only would it probably violate the rules of that particular forum… But even if it didn’t I’d still not get greedy.
Remember the focus is on GIVING… Creating high value content… The end all, be all solution for this problem. People will reject it if they think you are trying to be sly and take advantage of them. Don’t be foolish.
So How Will You Monetize It?
One of two ways. Either with a low key “forum signature” or with people literally seeking you out and private messaging you for further help, which often they would be happy to pay for. (That’s when you know you did it right!) A low key forum signature could be something like – “I help set up affiliate programs for people. Email me at email@example.com if you’d like to discuss hiring me.”
Simple, right? Yes.
What can this mean for you? Well I’m looking at a thread right now on the Warrior Forum that has 21,260 views. Guess what it’s about? How to get the most out of an ezine article! Not rocket science. It’s not even that good content.
This post is 2 years and 2 months old. So don’t expect to get 21,000+ views immediately. But do the math – that averages out to about 26 views a DAY over the span of two years and two months.
Sounds good to me.
Now what if you created a post like this once a week? In a year you’d have a lot of things going for you…
- Tons of high value content out there.
- Stuff to repurpose into free (and paid!) products.
- Experience which sharpens your skills.
- Enlightenment based on results. (Can’t get that in an ebook.)
- Some money in your pocket.
Hopefully along the way you aim at getting a little (just a little!) better with each piece of high value content you create. If you do this – in a year you will laugh when you look at a blank screen – because it will be so easy for you to create high value content… Since you’ve done it so often.
Plus, you’ll be more finely tuned in to how people react to certain things that you do… Meaning you are consciously able to create FAVORABLE reactions consistently.
You will be a high value creation machine. Which you can leverage so many different ways to get traffic. Which in turn you can then pick among the many proven models to make money online. It’s not glamorous. It’s a little slow. But it works. Don’t you wish you would’ve spent the last year with a plan like this instead of being distracted by fancy, pie in the sky solutions?

Look For PAIN & You Will GAIN, Then Find A Starving Crowd & FEED IT!

Look For PAIN & You Will GAIN, Then Find A Starving Crowd & FEED IT!
By Keith Everett..
Do you really want to MAKE MONEY? Then get with the program and start seeking out PAIN…
No, I’m not talking about the self inflicted type of pain on things that you sit on…..
I’m talking about REAL PAIN.. your PROSPECTS!… are they in PAIN, and
Do they THINK about it ALL the time?
Gary Halbert, probably along with John Carlton would rank up there as one of the best Copywriters who ever lived. Unfortunately he passed away a little while ago but during his lifetime he earned MILLIONS of dollars creating copy for very well known companies.
He had a wonderful business philosophy and once said, in order to find TRUE Success “Find A Starving Crowd & Feed It”…
Now think about that one for a minute and put it another way…Find people who are CRYING out for the SOLUTION you offer.
Wouldn’t you have MORE chance of selling someone on a product if it could get them out of PAIN? I mean – REAL Pain.
1) Let’s take BACK PAIN for a moment. Anyone who has experienced back Pain would know that this can be excruciating, It can be WORSE than pulling out your very own teeth… How often do you think someone would think about Back Pain?…. probably ALL the time.
2) How about the PAIN of a relationship BREAK UP… if someone had just split up from their partner, how do think they would be FEELING right now? pretty Painful, I would say. How often do you think that person would be thinking about that pain?… pretty much all the time, I would guess.
3) What about the LOSS of a loved one… This pain is UNBEARABLE, I’m sure many of you know this. This has to be one of the most INTENESLY painful times of your life and anything that could help relieve this pain, no matter how little – would have to be a good thing, RIGHT?
OK, I’m not talking about exploiting people in pain. I’m talking about HELPING people in pain… People in pain are often very VUNERABLE, they need good advice, they need RESULTS… and QUICK!.
Aren’t these people a STARVING crowd. Aren’t they just crying out for your solution?
1) People in pain are STARVING… to get RELIEF
2) People in pain think about their pain an awful lot..
3) People in pain will buy products that help them, and would PROBABLY recommend anything that worked, to someone else who may be suffering the same pain.
If you do your research, there are plenty of good articles online already written about these problems. Go ot any good article directory and look for the TOP articles on your subject. This will give you plenty of ideas as to what to say in your articles, sales letters, ebooks & video courses.
Find out what people are in PAIN about, and offer good, useful SOLUTIONS.
This way you you are offering useful products, instead of the NEXT Wonder Bombshell, Kung Fu – Traffic BLASTER LOL!
Surely people can’t keep marketing CRAP forever, one day the SH*T must hit the fan and people will say, enough is enough. The Internet Marketing tide is CHANGING and people will have to sell – USEFUL products, God Forbid.
I think the day has definitely arrived now whereby modern marketers who produce good ethical, USEFUL products will thrive. A lot of the digital products being sold as original ebooks & courses etc are just re-packaged, regurgitated, re-generated, re-mastered, re-makes…
Find A Starving Crowd IN PAIN, who think about their pain, most of the time.. If you can provide good solutions and DO IT WELL… I don’t think you will have too much pain in the money department ever again… just a few observations and of course some more minor ramblings from ME..
Have a GREAT Day…
Keith

10 Ways To Get Free Traffic To Your Website Or Blog

Here are 10 ways to get traffic to your Website or Blog
1) Create a SQUIDOO lens. Get FREE traffic by linking your Squidoo lens back to your Website or Blog. You can do this by adding your articles, then adding appropriate links.
You can also add your Website’s RSS feed to your Squidoo Lens. Create as many free lenses as you want and even add your affiliate banners and links to them.
I use Squidoo’s revenue share system by adding their Amazon & eBay modules for a 50/50 commission split. You will also receive commission on their Google Adsense ads. You can of course add your own links to Amazon & eBay & you can add links to your PPC & CPA offers if you wish. Overall, Squidoo lenses rank quite well on Google, if you optimize them properly with lots of good quality keywords. Don’t forget to include your keyword in the title of your lens.. You can also add as many tags to each lens as you want – Score 10/10
2) Facebook Fan/Like Page -Traffic Swaps – Nowadays you can exchange just about anything, traffic is no exception. I’m not talking about untargeted traffic through dubious Ad schemes. I’m talking about contacting the owners of similar Facebook Fan/Like Pages or groups and offering to mention their Fan Pages either/or on your own personal wall or on your own Fan Page. Also you can mention their Fan page to your Facebook friends in exchange for them doing exactly the same. Always set your Fan Page Welcome tab to default view – this should contain your list opt-in details. A perfect way to get targeted traffic, all for free. Score 9/10
3) Blog Sharing – You can syndicate your Blog to automatically appear on Facebook whenever you publish a post, this is done through a free system called Networked Blogs - your post can also be syndicated to your Facebook Fan/Like page, old style Facebook Group & your twitter accounts. When Network Blogs syndicate this, this will create an instant burst of traffic to your Blog as it will appear on your wall – for all your Facebook friends to see. You will also go viral as viewers through networked Blogs are given the option to share, comment, vote or tweet it on Twitter. Score 9/10
4) YouTube – Video Marketing. Creating free videos that have useful content is a great way for creating a viral traffic share system. what I mean by this is if you create a useful video, for example – “How to Clean Up Your Desktop – people can relate to this video, as plenty of people have messy desktops. They will find the information in the video useful and pass it on if, actively encouraged to do so. How do you encourage people to do this for you?
a) Provide great, USEFUL content.
b) ASK Them to pass it on… yes, believe me this works. If you use Camtasia, put a slide in the last few frames of the video saying something like “If you found this Video useful, why not pass it on, I’m sure your friends would love to know how to ” Keep their desktops clean“, or whatever it is you make your video about. don’t forget to include a visual link to your website in the last few frames (if you have Camtasia) and a click-able link on You Tube to show underneath the video (very important).
If you don’t have Camtasia, don’t worry – I have made over 30 videos just using a cheap FLIP Camcorder just speak the words… “If you found this video useful, please share this video with your friends”, into your camcorder, in the last few seconds.
Put your videos on You Tube, Facebook, also share on other Social Networks including the many video sharing sites. Score. 8/10.
5) Guest Blogging - Find highly ranked, high traffic Blogs (Check Alexa) in your Niche, contact the owners and ask them if you can submit a Blog post, tell them how beneficial your unique content will be to their readers… By the way, we use Guest Bloggers all the time. It’s good for us as we have many varied articles by different authors, and it’s good for the person who guest Blogs as they get links back to their Website or Blog. Score 8/10
6) Forum Marketing – This is often overlooked as a viable traffic method but when used correctly can bring you almost INSTANT results.. Offering USEFUL advice in reply to a person’s post in a thread that you have some working knowledge of can, providing you have a click-able signature set up – produce another great source of free traffic, especially when used in high traffic forums such as the Warrior Forum. Don’t just post a simple “good post” in reply to a post. – actually try to solve the person’s problem, this will also attract comments to your reply, just keep replying to the replies and the thread will grow & grow and the views to your signature will follow suit. Score 7/10
7) Blog Commenting – Again, go for high traffic Blogs, post useful comments in reply to a specific post. Your replies should offer a good insight into the content of the original post. use good keywords in your reply . Leave your website address in the post & comment regularly. If your comments are useful, the blog owner may end up contacting you in the end to act as a guest Blogger.. Keep the comments coming, people love comments, if they are good – people will click your link and want to know more about you. Score 7/10
8) Create FREE Reports & Give them Away. create a free report on an in demand topic, this could be a short report of just a couple of pages or more. Convert it into a pdf file (read with adobe), and share it. By creating free reports of value and linking them back to your Web Page or Blog, you will get traffic, you can also encourage people to share your free report with friends via email. I do this with free reports containing affiliate links, it does work. Score 7/10
9) Only Wire – I use Only Wire to distribute my Articles, Videos & Blog posts. Only Wire is a down-loadable submission tool which is free and you can submit your content to up to 42 different Social Network sites in a matter of seconds (you need to join the sites you want to submit to) - Score 7/10
10) Link Exchange – Approach the owners of high traffic Blogs & Websites to exchange links with you. They can only say no. Some will, some won’t. You never know if you don’t try. Score 7/10
